Colorado Springs Altitude Volleyball Club is a non-profit organization for Middle and High School age girls. (Ages 10 – 18 years old) |
Mission:
The Colorado Springs Altitude Volleyball Club, a 501 © 3 non-profit organization, is committed to promoting competitive volleyball for girls ages 18 and under in the Southern Colorado Region. We value developing well-rounded quality players by teaching life-skills, a top to bottom team concept and promoting overall wellness in young girls.
Coaching Staff:
We have a staff of over 20 coaches with many different levels of experience. Our staff has over 70 years of combined experience to include high school, collegiate and international volleyball. We continue our education each year so we can keep up with changes in the ways the sport of volleyball is taught at all levels. Each coach has a background check done by USA Volleyball every two years to ensure your child’s safety.
Levels of Play:
We begin club volleyball with the age 12 and under and continue up through 18 and under. We attempt to field three teams at the 12 and 13 level, two teams at the 14, 15, 16 and 17 level and 1-2 teams at the 18’s level. One of the goals for our 18 and under level is to attend college on a volleyball scholarship. We have a very high rate of achievement in this aspect. For example, in our first two years of having an 18’s team, 16 CSA players are currently playing on a scholarship.
We also have different levels of play within an age group. Each age level that has more than one team will have players who have greater skill ability, experience, and level of commitment. Having more than one team allows us to give attention to those with limited experience and for those with limitations on the amount of time and financial commitment they can provide.
